A Wasted Weekend

I studied all weekend for biology. It was probably the most boring weekend of my life. Back in high school I didn't have to study hardly at all now that I'm in college I have to devote my life to studying. That I wouldn't even mind but I studied all weekend for my biology test and knew it all. I knew every word on my notes but when I went to class and took the test nothing on the test was on the notes. So basically I studied all weekend for nothing and that sucks. I haven't gotten my grade back but I know its not going to be good.

I Love Dr. Pepper

Dr. Pepper was invented in 1885 and what a great invention it was. Now I don't know who invented it, why they invented it, or how they invented it and I don't really care. All I Know is I love it. I have probably 5 cans a day and can't go through the day without it. I love the way it taste and that tingling feeling in the back of your throat when you drink it. I have one every mourning when I wakeup and at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If the man who invented it did not recieve the noble prize then it is probably the greatest tradgedy in human history. So as I finish off this last bit of Dr. Pepper in my hand I give thanks to you, Mr. maker of Dr. Pepper, for you are the greatest inventer of your time.

Golf is Hard

I love the game of golf but ive realized that it is an incredible hard game. I have newfound respect for the professional golfers on the t.v. I mean it looks so easy, Tiger Woods just has a nice and easy swing and he can make the golf ball fly over 7 trees and land right gy the hole. if i tried that the ball would probably fly back in my face. I've also learned that practice doesn't make you perfect in the case of golf. I've played 10 times in the last 2 weeks and Im still horrible. Im thinking about quitting the game because its so exspensive and I'm horrible at it.I think I'll try it a couple more times but if I don't get under +20 I'm gonna quit.

My Beloved Longhorns

I was so excited at the beginning of this week. The most important game of the whole college football season was coming on, the longhorns vs. the buckeyes. I went home to watch the game with my family and we had everything right before the game. We were all decked out in our longhorn gear and had chips, queso, buffaolo wings, etc. We were all ready and waiting for a longhorn win but of course what happened, the buckeyes won. It was one of the saddist days in the Bell house that I can remember. I stayed awake til 2 o'clock the next mourning just thinking about what went wrong in the game. The season is all but over for my beloved longhorns. No national championship this year. This terrible lost pretty much ruins my whole college football season which is pretty much my whole life from August to February. Next time you are watching the longhorns please think of me and root for the longhorns a little harder.

The Top Ten Things I Hate About My Dorm

1. Its too small. Everytime I turn around my nose is touching the wall. Its tiny.
2.There are ants in it. I've been bitten at least 5 times today by angry ants.
3. There are no trash cans close so there is trash everywhere.
4.The stench is unbearable. Not only is there trash everywhere but my roomate has size 18 feet and they stink.
5.There is no parking anywhere around here. I drive around for hours trying to find a spot but hardly ever do.
6.Blanco hall is too far away from the school. I have to walk a mile to school everyday and im too fat to walk all that way.
7.My T.V. is too small. My house has a 54' big screen T.V. My dorm has a 27' its a big diference
8.The walls are too bland. All the walls are straight white with nothing on them. Its kinda depressing.
9.The beds suck. My back hurts horribly along with my neck due to this fact.
10.You can't open the window. I can't get fresh air unless I want to walk to the 1st floor.

Theres No Place Like Home

This labor day weekend I went back to Burnet to visit with my family and friends. Let me tell you after being gone from home for nearly a month theres no place like home. I love coming back because when I show up everyone is glad to see me and even meet me at the front door with questions like, "How's college going"and "How's your new roomates."Their so excited to see me and im excited to see them. Im treated like royalty with cold glasses of homemade sweet tea given to me upon request. Its incredible. I liked my house before I left for college, it was comfortable, but it just wasn't the same. Now I feel needed and missed when I come back. Its an awesome feeling to have and I think I'll start coming home more often to embrace that feeling.
